3 New Herbicide-Tolerant soybeans released


The Australian Soybean Breeding program has recently released three varieties that are all herbicide tolerant. These include New Bunya HB1, Kuranda HB1 and Mossman HB1.

New Bunya HB1 is suitable to be planted in southern Queensland and Northern NSW from late November through to mid-January.


Kuranda HB1 can be grown in coastal areas from around Nambour to the Burdekin. It is also a variety well suited to the winter crop.

Mossman HB1 is suitable to be grown in the Burdekin and Atherton Tablelands.
