Peter Brodie
DIRECTOR
Peter completed a Diploma in Agriculture at Gatton College 1964 – 66. Peter has worked in the industry for 48 years. He started the company with the Philp family in 1984. Peter has been has been heavily involved in the seed & grain industry throughout this time. He has served as President of the Queensland Agricultural Merchants Association. He helped to establish the North Australian Soybean Industry Association (NASIA) and then the joining of other regional soybean industry associations to establish Soy Australia in 2003. He served as President on both associations.

Ben McIntyre
GENERAL MANAGER
As General Manager, Ben oversees all aspects of the business, ensuring everything runs smoothly from day to day. Having worked in the business for over 10 years, he brings a wealth of experience and a steady hand to his leadership. With a strong background in farming himself, he brings a practical insight and enjoys building genuine connections with the farmers. Known as the glue that holds everything together, Ben plays a vital role in keeping the team focused and the business moving forward.
David Ridgway
SEED SPECIALIST
David Ridgway started working for the company in 1987, completed a degree in Bachelor of Applied Science RURTECH and a Graduate Diploma in Management, worked at QCMA for 2 years. David has extensive knowledge in all seed varieties and is available for on farm visits.
Matt Hintz
ADMIN / EXPORT MANAGER
With over 20 years of experience working alongside the Brodie’s, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and consistency to the team. As Administration Manager, he oversees the smooth running of day-to-day operations, while also managing shipping and logistics with precision and care. Known for his keen eye for detail, Matt ensures everything runs efficiently, with a strong focus on accuracy in every task.

Chloe Scotney
ADMINISTRATION
Chloe helps manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. From invoicing and stock reconciliations to ensuring farmers are paid on time, she provides reliable support that helps keep the business on track. She has completed a Diploma of Business and a Diploma of Agribusiness Management.
Nicole Jones
CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
Nicole plays a key role in managing bulk stock levels and supporting the financial operations of the business. She helps ensure inventory is accurately maintained and financial processes run smoothly behind the scenes. Her strong organisational skills and commitment to accuracy make her an essential part of the team.
